Foreign ministers of seven European countries arrive in Kyiv

The foreign ministers of Latvia, Estonia, Lithuania, Finland, Iceland, Norway and Sweden have arrived in Kyiv to discuss further support for Ukraine.

Latvian Foreign Minister Edgars Rinkevics said this on Twitter, Ukrinform reports.

“We, the Ministers of Foreign Affairs from Estonia, Finland, Iceland, Latvia, Lithuania, Norway and Sweden, are in Kyiv today in full solidarity with Ukraine. Despite Russia’s bomb rains and barbaric brutality Ukraine will win!” the tweet reads.

On November 26, the prime ministers of Ukraine, Poland and Lithuania met in Kyiv to discuss the challenges related to Russia’s destruction of the Ukrainian energy infrastructure.

  1. This is a good thing. If they see firsthand what the people are going through, it’ll be easier to send more aid.
I wouldn’t be surprised if the evil rug rat were to order more strikes while the foreign ministers are in Kyiv.

    • If they want to be helpful, they should immediately send their best air defence equipment to Ukraine, plus some long range ballistic missiles.

      • As a normal human being, it’s difficult to grasp the reluctance of the collective West to hand over essential help, asap!

  2. Iceland, Norway, Finland and Sweden are fantastically wealthy countries who have so far been as mean as dirt regarding aid to Ukraine.
They all must not only pull their weight, but do a hell of a lot more.
Finland and Sweden should be horribly embarrassed about leapfrogging Ukraine to get into Nato.
Socialist countries like Finland and Sweden never seem to have any problem getting into Nato, do they?

    • Yes, they could do a lot more, at least in monetary terms, although Sweden has a pretty extensive defense industry. They have great difficulties selling their g´fighters, though. This would be a grand opportunity to hand over some to Ukraine and watch them sweep the skies of mafia junk. What better advertisement can there be?
