The armed forces of Ukraine are moving forward little by little in the Luhansk region, but every meter is difficult enough.

This is reported by RBC-Ukraine with reference to the interview of the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration, Serhii Gaidai, in Novina.Live.

“In the direction of Svatovo-Kreminna, the trend is positive so far, our troops are moving forward,” he said.

At the same time, Gaidai added that every meter of Luhansk Region is given to the Armed Forces of Ukraine with great difficulty. In his opinion, one of the reasons is the absence of the element of surprise, as was the case, in particular, during the liberation of Kharkiv region.

“After the deoccupation of Kharkiv Oblast, the Russian troops still managed to mine a huge area, raise reserves. They also brought detachments of Kadyrov citizens and those prisoners recruited by Prigozhin, managed to blow up bridges, build certain defensive structures. Therefore, every meter of Luhansk Oblast, every settlement is difficult enough.” , – added the head of the OVA.

We will remind, earlier RBC-Ukraine reported that the Secretary of the National Security Council Oleksiy Danilov did not confirm the words of the Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff of the United States, General Mark Milley, about the losses of the Armed Forces of Ukraine in the amount of 100,000 killed and wounded.

We also wrote earlier that the ex-commander of the US in Europe, General Ben Hodges, believes that the Ukrainian army will gain an advantage over the Russians in winter conditions.

  1. Indeed, the push in the Donbas is a difficult one. But, if the trend continues, the UA general staff will work out a viable plan to get things moving faster, I’m sure. The nearing winter will be Ukraine’s friend and the cockroach’s enemy.
