Kremlin admits it attacks Ukraine’s infrastructure to force Zelenskyy to negotiate

17 NOVEMBER 2022

The Kremlin claims that the lack of electricity and heating in many areas of Ukraine is the consequence of the Kyiv authorities’ refusal to negotiate.

Source: Russian news agency Interfax, citing Dmitry Peskov, press secretary of the President of the Russian Federation

Details: In particular, Peskov stated that the missile strikes are aimed at Ukraine’s infrastructure facilities, which are supposedly “directly or indirectly related to its military potential”.

He said the lack of electricity and heating in many areas of Ukraine is the consequence of the actions of the Kyiv authorities in refusing to negotiate.

Quote: “The reluctance of the Ukrainian side to resolve the problem, to enter into negotiations, and, especially, the actions of the Ukrainian side in abandoning the agreed understanding of the text and so on, these are all the consequences, and we need to talk about this too.”

  • Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy has outlined 10 proposals that comprise Ukraine’s “formula for peace” in his video address to the G20 summit in Bali. “And if Russia claims that it wants to end this war, let it prove its words with actions,” Zelenskyy has said.
  • Russia has responded with 10 missiles for each point of Ukraine’s peace plan. On 15 November, Russia carried out the largest missile attack on Ukraine’s critical infrastructure since 24 February 2022.
  • The Ukrainian government has stressed on multiple occasions that negotiations with Russia will only be possible after Russia withdraws its troops from Ukrainian territory as defined in 1991.
  • The Ministry for Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation has stated that Russia “does not accept preconditions regarding Ukraine”, particularly the requirement to withdraw the Russian troops.

  1. Pest-coughs words are whiny, desperate groveling of an erstwhile giant that’s been cut down to pieces by Ukrainian toughness. The dwarf wants to negotiate to save what’s salvageable of his trash army. We all know the consequences of having peace now; in five years, we’ll have another war!

    • Zelensky should be careful with issuing lists like that because the Moskali will use it to wiggle out of everything. They can’t read to begin with but if Zelensky wants reparations (for example) then he needs to say so specifically.

  2. It’s yet another admission of planned, systematic genocide.
A further stipulation should be added to the conditions for negotiations:
All kidnap victims to be handed back intact, Pisscough. Putler. Strelkov, Lavrov, Skabby, Solovyov, Simonyan, Medvedev, to be handed over to Ukraine to deal with them as they see fit.

To bad Pestkoff. You can watch as more of your jackleg army is destroyed by Ukraine. You want negotiations, then you have to get your troops outside the internationally recognized borders of Ukraine. The borders you promised to respect when you accepted the seat of the USSR in the UN, and in the Budapest Memorandum.

Since they have not respected Ukraine’s borders, they must be expelled from all international organizations and treated as utter pariahs with no trade or representation anywhere in the rest of the world.
