Details of more than 30 European and American companies were found in the Shahed-136 kamikaze drones that Russia bought from Iran. American spare parts were mostly used .

The Trap Aggressor investigation stated that engineers dismantled the drone that the Ukrainian military shot down on October 13 over the Black Sea in the Odesa region. When it fell, the combat part of the drone was lost, but other parts remained in place.

“Explosives along with precision attack optics are located in the front of the UAV. Kamikazes are truck-launched with salvo fire, can fly at speeds of over 185 kilometers per hour. The Russian military renamed the aircraft Geran-2 to disguise the Iranian origin of the weapon.” – the material says.

According to investigators, almost all components of the Iranian drone are of American or European origin. At the same time, the only part of Iranian production is the power plant or engine.

“The manufacturing company is Iran’s Oje Parvaz Mado Nafar Company (MADO). It specializes in the production of drone components, as well as the import and export of commercial goods. According to the US Treasury Department, MADO procured UAV engines for organizations associated with the Guard Corps Islamic Revolution. On October 29, 2021, the U.S. Treasury Department imposed sanctions on a company and its directors for purchasing engines and parts for Iran’s military industry, freezing its assets under U.S. jurisdiction. The same sanctions also apply to foreign parties that facilitate the organization’s transactions or otherwise she is being helped,” said Trap Aggressor.

Ukrainian spies have identified more than 30 European and American companies:

  • servo drive – American Hitec USA Group;
  • power elements – Japanese Panasonic;
  • ceramic antenna – Kandskoy Tallisman.

“The control board is assembled from Japanese and American parts. The power supply board is made of German and Chinese elements. The control unit of the Russian Zahidprilad plant. Boards, digital signal processors, transceivers, drivers and receivers manufactured by the infamous Texas Instruments company, which continued to work in Russia after the annexation of Crimea and the aggression on Donbas in 2014”, – noted the investigators

Previously, Texas Instruments parts were found in Russian Iskanders. At the same time, the company itself stated that they do not supply anything directly to the Russian Federation.

Experts from the Independent Anti-Corruption Commission contacted representatives of more than 35 companies whose details were found in Iranian drones, but only three responded. According to Viktoria Vishnevska, the NAKO Advocacy and Communication Manager, the answers contained only unsubscribes.

In addition, Ukrainian intelligence officers discovered parts manufactured in Ukraine in drones from Iran. This is an electric relay produced by the Kharkiv State Plant “Radiorele”. The enterprise is currently under the control of the State Property Fund of Ukraine.

“In 2020, due to inefficient management, it was put up for privatization. However, an investor has not yet been found. And the director Anatoliy Donets, unchanged since 2007, continues to manage the unprofitable asset. At the same time, in 2020, in an interview with the local Donetsk complained to journalists that back in 2016 they lost their largest sales market – in Russia. Thus, he actually confirmed that at that time the Ukrainian state company was conducting trade with the aggressor country. And this is how, probably, Ukrainian parts ended up in to the Iranian weapons that are now destroying our cities and killing civilians,” Trap Aggressor concluded.

Iranian drones in the war against Ukraine – what is known

In August, information appeared about Russia’s purchase of kamikaze drones from Iran. Tehran denied the agreement for a long time, but later the head of the Iranian Foreign Ministry, Hussein Amir Abdollahian, admitted  the supply of kamikaze drones to the Russian army . According to him, the delivery was allegedly several months before the start of the full-scale invasion of the Russian Federation into Ukraine.

The Russian occupiers use Iranian drones on civilian objects as well, which has already led to the death of people.

On November 1, Ukrainian intelligence reported that Iran plans to supply Moscow  with a batch of more than 200 combat drones  “Shahed-136”, “Mohajer-6” and “Arash-2”.

  1. No surprises there! The sanctions against Iran are just as worthless as the ones against mafia land. The West has proven countless times that it has a big trap but nothing behind it. Both trash countries could’ve already been put in their places, sans thousands of deaths and a trillion dollars of damages. But, as the old Latin saying goes, money don’t stink, does it?
