Sadovy on rocket attacks on Lviv: the situation is very difficult, there is a wounded

Lviv public utilities are running diesel generators to stabilize the city’s energy system.

As a result of Russian missile attacks on Lviv , 80% of the city remains without electricity. Due to the lack of electricity, the heat supply was temporarily suspended. There is no hot water. The utilities are already running diesel generators.  

Lviv Mayor Andriy Sadovyi said in a video message that the consequences of rocket attacks are severe. There is one seriously wounded – the injury is very severe.

“The situation is very complicated… One person was wounded as a result of a rocket attack. The victim was promptly hospitalized. Trams and trolleybuses do not run in the city. Restoration work will begin after the end of the alarm. All schoolchildren and preschoolers are in shelters together with teachers and educators until the end of the alarm.” – said Sadovy.

The mayor stressed that cars with loudspeakers would announce the end of the alarm in the city.
