Now officially: the entire Mykolaiv region has been liberated, but there is a nuance (photo, video)

At the same time, the water pipeline from the Dnieper River is again under the control of Ukraine. After demining, supplies of drinking water to Nikolaev should be resumed.

The entire Nikolaev region has been liberated from Russian invaders.

However, as the head of the Nikolaev OVA Vitaly Kim stated , the territory of the Kinburn Spit still remains occupied.

“Now it’s official: the entire Nikolaev region (except for Kinburn) has been liberated,” he said.

According  to  Kim, the conduit for supplying water from the Dnieper to Nikolaev is under Ukrainian control, but has not yet been cleared of mines.

“I will soon know the timing of the potential restoration of drinking water in Niko,” the head of the OVA added.

Kim also said that today he held a field meeting on the situation in the de-occupied territories of the Nikolaev region. Together with representatives of all law enforcement agencies, they visited the recently de-occupied Snegirevka and held a meeting on the restoration of life in the liberated territories of the region.

“In particular, the leadership of the SBU Department in the Nikolaev region of the Nikolaev regional prosecutor’s office, the Main Directorate of the National Police in the Nikolaev region, the Department of the Patrol Police in the Nikolaev region, the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service in the Nikolaev region, the Territorial Department of the State Security Bureau in Nikolaev, the Nikolaev zonal department of the VSP and the head of the Bashtanskaya RVA Vladislav Dmitrov. Representatives of the National Guard, the military, the future head of the Snigirev city military administration Ivan Kukhta and my adviser Olga Malyarchuk also took part,” Kim said.

According to him, during the meeting they discussed all issues related to the full resumption of the life of Snigirevskaya and two nearby communities. We also decided on stabilization measures.

“We are already working on providing the liberated communities with electricity and communications and restoring the signal. Tomorrow, the warehouses are expected to be replenished with humanitarian aid for the population. In addition, today I examined the damage in Snigirevka caused by the Russian military and visited the local hospital. The employees of the institution provided medical services to the population even when the community was occupied. Therefore, for the further work of the hospital, the issue of providing medical personnel, equipment and medicines was resolved,” the head of the OVA stressed.

Despite the fact that the relevant services have already started demining the liberated territories, local residents were asked to be more careful.
