In Stanislav, Kherson region, the flag of Ukraine was raised: people have been waiting for this moment for more than 8 months. Video

In the village of Stanislav, Kherson region, for the first time in eight months, the flag of Ukraine again flutters. When one of the volunteers raised the yellow-blue banner of victory to the flagpole, the villagers wept with happiness and unanimously sang the national anthem.

The footage of the exciting and solemn moment was published by journalist and blogger Konstantin Ryzhenko on his Telegram channel . This moment will forever remain in the history of the village as a festive event (to watch the video, scroll the page to the end) .

“We have been waiting for this moment so much, it’s just beyond words. Now I see how our flag was raised and my eyes do not believe. In recent months there was a moment of despair: I couldn’t believe that I would wait for this day again,” the man shares his emotions.

Recall that during the occupation, the inhabitants of the Kherson region lived extremely hard and oppressed . The invaders took food from people, the return of Ukraine to the region actually saved people from starvation.

As OBOZREVATEL reported, Russian Defense Minister Shoigu heard a report from the group commander in Ukraine, Sergei Surovikin, and announced that  Russia was withdrawing troops from the right bank of the Kherson region.  Under the guise of “taking care of the lives of military personnel,” the invaders are fleeing from the offensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to the left bank, announcing their intention to build a defense line along the Dnieper.

Former Deputy Supreme Commander of NATO, General Richard Shirreff, said leaving Ukrainian Kherson was a real humiliation for Kremlin dictator   Putin. He is confident that this will also greatly affect the morale of the Russian occupying army.

Good for them! After 8 months of living under cockroaches, they get to breathe the sweet air of freedom once again. My friends in Crimea have been waiting for 8 years.
