“You cannot negotiate peace with someone who has come to kill you.”

Roman Sheremeta Nov 6

The talks about peace negotiations between Ukraine and russia are bluntly inhumane and 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗮𝗹. To quote Golda Meir: “You cannot negotiate peace with someone who has come to kill you.” With all of the false narratives and propaganda that russia has been trying to push, the main reason they came to Ukraine is to eliminate the whole nation.

Timothy Snyder, a distinguished historian from Yale University, has clearly outlined the evidence of russia committing 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 [1,2]. The Russian official press agency “RIA Novosti” has explicitly published a program for the complete elimination of the Ukrainian nation as such [3], basically openly calling for 𝗴𝗲𝗻𝗼𝗰𝗶𝗱𝗲 (something that even 𝗛𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗿 didn’t do). Add to that the atrocities, war crimes, and crimes against humanity that have already been committing against Ukrainian people [4].

Taken this into account, how can you call for negotiations? Or how morally deprived you have to be to say let’s negotiate for only part of Ukraine to be eliminated?

There cannot be peace with russia. Such peace automatically means annihilation of all Ukrainians. Russia without Putin is not enough. It must be a russia without imperial psychosis. A russia that is not a terrorist state.

Very true words. That’s only common sense, something many in the West that call for negotiations are too stupid to comprehend.
