Why is the Carnegie Endowment for International Peace producing articles that closely resemble the output of RaT or Sputnik?

  1. I looked up the writer. He an opinion writer for the Moscow Times with a dubious background. Can’t find any details on him other then he’s an international political analyst. Nothing as far as education or anything regarding his background. I’d swear he must FSB given his somewhat clandestine background. I read a few of his other opinions and there is no doubt in my mind he’s fully paid for by the Kremlin. All that said, this is unusual for Carnegie. I read a few of their papers on this war and I don’t get a decided pro Kremlin or even pro Ukrainian side. So this paper is weird.
