Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) Director Bill Burns visited Ukraine earlier this month to meet with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky and other officials as it looks like the war could drag on into a second year.

This is reported by CNN , citing two informed sources.

“While there, he strengthened US commitments to support Ukraine in its fight against Russian aggression, including continuing to share intelligence,” a US official said in a commentary to the channel.

The sources declined to provide more travel details.

  1. If CNN reported it, then it’s no longer secret, is it? I know that grammar is usually a silly thing to quibble over, but the title of this sounds like he secretly traveled to Ukraine right NOW, instead of a month ago.

    • I agree Sir Mac. And also that he “secretly” traveled. As if that’s a shock that a CIA director went into a war zone secretly. Perhaps he should have announced it to the ruSSians or asked for their permission?…
