In Kupyansk  , the invaders kept 400 people in cells designed for 140.

This was reported by the press center of the SBU.

It is noted that the illegal prison of the invaders was equipped in the regional police department of Kupyansk, where the “leading center” of the occupation administration was located.

“It was established that in these premises the occupiers held and mocked the local residents, who refused to cooperate with them. Few people among the Kupyansk people wanted to help the enemy, so the” prison “was tripled: in cells designed for 140 people, the occupiers simultaneously held more than 400 . Illegally imprisoned citizens were forced to sleep standing up,” the report says.

The press center of the SBU emphasized that according to international conventions, such treatment is recognized as torture and is cruel, inhuman treatment and punishment.

Investigators of the SBU Department in the Kharkiv region are documenting atrocities and other war crimes committed by the Russian occupation forces against the civilian population in the framework of criminal proceedings under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code (“violation of the laws and customs of war”).

As UNIAN reported, on September 14, President Volodymyr Zelensky said that almost the entire Kharkiv region had been liberated from Russian invaders, and about 150,000 Ukrainians lived in the occupation for more than five months.

Today, September 16, the head of the National Police Igor Klymenko said that 10 dungeons were found in the de-occupied territories of the Kharkiv region.

  1. I hope we find some of these medieval torturers and give them some of their own medicine. I know Ukrainians don’t commit war crimes but maybe they could answer the phone, or rescue a cat in a tree for a few minutes and accidentally look the other way while the son or daughter has a few minutes with the orcs? I think they could all use a Columbian necktie…
