Where exactly Denis Pushilin went is unknown, but most likely he is in Russia.
Against the backdrop of a successful counteroffensive by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the “head” of the so-called “DPR” Denis Pushilin fled Donetsk. The “head” of the occupation administration is most likely located on the territory of Russia.
This information was shared by Channel 24, citing its own source in Ukrainian intelligence.
Earlier, the publication received information that militants in the “DPR” began to panic because of the counteroffensive of the Armed Forces of Ukraine at the front. One of the reasons was the lack of men who could be mobilized. The vast majority of people of military age from the pseudo-republic have already been sent to war against Ukraine.
As a result, the “leader” of the so-called “DPR” Denis Pushilin decided to flee Donetsk. A source in Ukrainian intelligence did not say where exactly the “head” of the occupation administration went, but he has few options. Most likely, Pushilin is hiding somewhere outside Russia.
Here it is immediately important to note that the information needs to be confirmed. The Ukrainian side has not yet commented on the intelligence source’s information.
Recall that at the end of August, the Armed Forces of Ukraine launched a counteroffensive in the Kherson and Kharkiv regions. It has been going on for almost two weeks now.
Today, September 10, information appeared about the liberation of Kupyansk and the capture of Russian units in Izyum into the “cauldron” . And in the south, the Armed Forces of Ukraine advanced along the entire front line – in places up to several tens of kilometers.
Meanwhile, military expert Oleg Zhdanov predicted that the counter-offensive of the Ukrainian forces would be long and “jumpy”. Not everywhere will it be possible to quickly reconquer territories, as is happening now.
