Joe Biden authorizes aid for Ukraine.

The administration of President Joe Biden is preparing to provide about $800 million in additional military assistance to Ukraine.
This is reported by Reuters , citing three sources familiar with the matter.
The White House may announce this as early as Friday, August 19th.
According to media reports, Joe Biden is authorizing the aid using his presidential cutback powers, which allow the president to authorize the transfer of surplus weapons from US stockpiles.
At the same time, according to the agency, the allocation of assistance may be announced next week, and by this time the cost of weapons packages may also change.
The White House did not comment on the information.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on Thursday the Estonian government approved another military support package for Ukraine , in which the country will send more weapons to Ukraine, such as mortars and anti-tank weapons.
