The US National Security Council believes that Vladimir Zelensky can take part in the G20 summit remotely.

Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky is due to attend the G20 summit in Bali if Kremlin head Vladimir Putin attends.
This is stated in a statement by the White House National Security Council, writes Bloomberg .
“As President Biden has publicly stated, he does not believe that President Putin should attend the G20 as he is waging his own war against Ukraine,” Washington said.
But if Putin does come to the G20 summit, the US believes that Zelensky should also take part in it.
The National Security Council is pushing for Zelenskiy to attend the summit, leaving open the possibility that the Ukrainian president could join virtually rather than in person.
Biden has not yet said whether he will travel to Bali for the G20 summit, although US officials have attended meetings ahead of the leaders’ summit.
As UNIAN reported earlier, the President of Indonesia invited Ukraine to the G20 summit in November. It is in this country that the next G20 summit will be held. Ukraine was invited to the summit by the United States and its allies.
The G20 has been in existence since 1999. Now it unites 19 countries and the EU. The G20 includes: European Union, USA, China, Japan, Germany, France, Brazil, Great Britain, Italy, Russia, Canada, India, Australia, Mexico, South Korea, Indonesia, Turkey, Saudi Arabia, Argentina, South Africa.
After Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, the US and its allies pushed for Putin to be treated as a pariah, but countries like Indonesia and India rejected the idea.
United States President Joe Biden said that Russia should be excluded from the G20. At the same time, in his opinion, Ukraine should attend the G20 meetings.
White House officials said they had privately conveyed to Indonesia their desire for Russia not to be present.
However, Indonesian President Joko Widodo said that Chinese leader Xi Jinping and Russian President Vladimir Putin plan to attend the G20 summit in Indonesia in November this year. “Xi Jinping will come. President Putin also told me that he will come,” Widodo said.

Only 5 of those countries listed could be described as pro-Ukraine. The US, UK, Canada, Australia and Japan. The others are slippery and treacherous.
Keep away from the G20. There is no usefulness to be expected out of a meeting which is made up of mostly trash countries. A real POTUS would know this and act accordingly.
I have faith in Zelensky that he can outshine the cockroach
Oh, there is no doubt about that, Sir Cap!
“White House officials said they had privately conveyed to Indonesia their desire for Russia not to be present.”
And what would convey anyone to do that from the same group of people that let Vladolf take Crimea, claim there is no military solution, claim the US wouldn’t do anything if it was just a small incursion, withhold weapons to try not to agitate the ruZZo-Nazis and not allow UA to use long distance missiles?
What you do is lobby a dozen of the 20 to stay home. I suppose that’s too much common sense though for a politician.
