The Chief Directorate of Intelligence of the Ministry of Defence of Ukraine predicts that “crucial events” may shortly occur at the fronts.
Source: Andrii Yusov, representative of the press service of the Chief Directorate of Intelligence, on the joint 24/7 newscast
Quote: “It is too early to speak about the retreat of the Russian forces from the territory of Ukraine, but Ukraine will be liberating all its territories occupied by the enemy.
In the very near future, there will certainly be some crucial events on all fronts. These events won’t necessarily be connected to particular dates, though Independence Day [of Ukraine, on 24 August -ed.] is being discussed a great deal at the moment, and this factor should be taken into consideration”.
Details: Yusov reminded listeners that the Intelligence Directorate had previously reported that “August and September will be extremely important months for further combat action along the entire front”.
At the moment “the global and strategic tasks undertaken by Putin, who maniacally hates Ukraine, have not changed, but ever since the full-scale invasion of Ukraine began, Russia has been getting farther and farther away from achieving these goals”.
Yusov also added that the war continues, and there is active fighting on almost all fronts.
Background:
- Defence Minister Oleksii Reznikov believes that “freezing” the war in Ukraine is currently impossible (which was the case when Russia first occupied Donbas), but there’s a chance that the level of combat activity will decrease.
- Ukraine’s Air Force has claimed that the Russians might engage in armed provocations, including some launched from Belarus, timed to coincide with Ukraine’s Independence Day on August 24. However, the Air Force stated that it has been combat ready around the clock since the beginning of the full-fledged war with the Russian Federation.
The past weeks have already been decisive in many ways. The destruction of so many ammo dumps, for one, the many command posts, the bridges and now the strikes on the Crimea. I’m itching to see more such good news.
And leadership is runny away like a bunch of scattered rats. What do they expect to do with a bunch of meat puppets with a few bullets left? I hope we capture enough to get our heroes released asap.
Captured ruZZian orcs will get way better treatment than they have given our brothers and sisters in arms. One way to fitjer mess with their heads is raining flyers over them telling them how to surrender. Not sure if worth risk to pilot or aircraft but tactic has been used in many wars. Could have an army of school kids with cheap drones to canvas the already panicking meat puppets. Plus could possibly send coded details to partisans.
Actually, that’s not a bad idea. The UA forces should inform the cockroaches how to surrender, because I’m sure many want to but just don’t know how to do it. Conveying the message safely is the big challenge.
I believe the good guys have made some videos and flyers. Especially flyers from the Partisans. And there were videos made before Vladolf dipped back into Crimea and forced Ukrainians to fight against their own army. They were also promised good care and money if they gave their equipment to Ukraine.
Didn’t the Ukrainians offer cash rewards before, for turned in material, like a million bucks for an aircraft, half a million for a chopper and so on?
I believe they did and do, yes.
