Vladimir Putin has been compared to Adolf Hitler. German Ambassador to Ukraine Anka Feldhusen sees “obvious parallels”.

She stated this in an interview with  Ukrinform .

“Historical analogies are not always correct, and Germany has a special position that our guilt in the Second World War cannot be surpassed. But, like so many Germans, I think about the parallels every day – they are simply obvious, in particular, and on the scale of that Putin wants some kind of empire, and we don’t know what its space is. I really think about it a lot,” the ambassador said.

Feldhusen also spoke about the concentration camps that Russia creates for Ukrainians.

“Yes, the Germans read about it. Not everyone, of course, but our media write a lot about it – there are many detailed articles, including specialists from Ukraine and even from Russia, who were forced to leave it. That is, there is information. They read whether people are as interested as diplomats or other professionals, I don’t know. But they really talk a lot about it,” Anka added.

Earlier, German Chancellor Olaf Scholz negatively assessed the idea of stopping the issuance of Schengen visas to Russians.

Old news. We’ve been saying this for years.
Anka Feldhusen should ask her boss, Scholz, why he’s such a pathetic coward.
