2,400 American soldiers will be sent to the European member countries of the Alliance.
The US decided to reinforce NATO ‘s eastern borders . An airborne division, known as the “Buzzing Eagles”, will be sent to these regions.

The dispatch of the paratroopers takes place after a corresponding promise by US Secretary of Defense Lloyd Austin. 2,400 soldiers of the 101st Airborne Division will be sent to Romania, Bulgaria, Hungary and Slovakia.play video
“After 80 years, the airborne division known as the “Cloaking Eagles” is returning to Europe to protect the eastern flank of NATO, appease our allies and contain our adversaries,” the tweet notes.
As previously reported, the current strength of the NATO Rapid Reaction Force of 40,000 troops should be increased to more than 300,000 troops by next year.
The leaders of the Alliance in the new strategic concept recognized that Russia poses a direct threat to NATO security, as it seeks to establish spheres of influence and direct control through coercion, subversion, aggression and annexation.

I’ve never heard “The One Oh Worst” referred to as the “Cloaking Eagles.” I have heard them desribed as the “Puking Buzzards> and “The Choking Eagles,” however. 🙂
