The Foreign Ministry said that Switzerland has lost its neutral status.

Switzerland cannot represent the interests of Ukraine in Russia, as it supported the sanctions against the aggressor country.
This was stated by Deputy Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs Ivan Nechaev, writes TASS .
He noted that Switzerland had long been interested in Moscow’s opinion on the possible representation of Ukraine’s interests in the Russian Federation and vice versa.
“We answered very clearly that Switzerland, unfortunately, has lost the status of a neutral state and cannot act either as a mediator or as a representative of interests,” Nechaev stressed.
Switzerland “took note” of the position of the Russian Federation. The official representative of the Swiss Foreign Ministry, Pierre Alain Elchinger , said that “no additional information (on this issue – UNIAN) will be provided at the moment.”
Recall that earlier the Ukrainian Foreign Ministry reported that Switzerland is ready to represent the interests of Ukrainians deported to the Russian Federation, but Russia must agree. Now there are no Ukrainian diplomatic institutions on the territory of the Russian Federation.

I don’t think Ukraine wants Switzerland to pretend to be a neutral party either.
