Ukraine has stopped the transit of Russian oil through the southern part of the Druzhba pipeline. The decision was made due to sanctions that made it impossible to pay for transit.

This was reported in Transneft .

It is noted that Ukrtransnafta from August 4 could stop the transit of oil from Russia to Hungary, the Czech Republic and Slovakia.

Transneft said that the reason was non-payment for transit services. The fact is that the Russian company cannot transfer funds due to the sanctions of the European Union. At the same time, the Ukrainian company provides services on the basis of 100% prepayment.

In turn, Russia claims that they made a payment for transit, but the money was returned to the account. It should be noted that the payments are serviced by Gazprombank. The financial institution said the payment was rejected due to the seventh round of sanctions.

  1. Great. Moskali gas and oil are becoming more and more unpopular and unnecessary. Soon the GDP of the largest country on earth will be the size of Portugal’s 😉
