In addition, journalists published images from the Planet Labs service dated August 9 at 11:10 am Kyiv time, that is, about 4 hours before the explosions. They show warehouses and numerous military aviation, which is located here. 

There are no pictures of the airfield after the explosions yet.

Earlier it was reported that powerful explosions occurred in Novofedorovka, Crimea, near a military airfield, from which, during a full-scale war unleashed by Russia against Ukraine early in the morning on February 24, occupant planes flew to bomb Mykolaiv, Kherson and Zaporozhye regions.

Former adviser to the head of the Ukrainian Interior Ministry, Viktor Andrusiv, hinted that powerful explosions in Crimea on August 9 occurred as a result of shelling carried out by the Ukrainian side.

The Russian Ministry of Defense claimed that the  explosions were due to the detonation of ammunition .
