The launches were carried out from Russian strategic Tu-95MS and Tu-160 bomber bombers from the northern part of the Caspian Sea.
On August 2, over the Mykolaiv region, Ukrainian defenders shot down four Russian X-type cruise missiles.
This was reported by the public relations service of the Air Command “South” on the social network Facebook .
“August 2, around 17:30, soldiers of the air command” South “in the sky over Mykolaiv region found and destroyed four enemy cruise missiles of type X (X-101, X-555),” the report says.

AFU appears to be having greater success in taking down missiles. I wish they were able to take out the bombers, pilots, ships, submarines, and crews firing the things as well. West needs to take off any range cap on weapons to make that happen. Ukraine should be able to answer any fire from rashist or belarashist territory, as well as preemptively dust any thing that is contributing to Ukrainian genocide. AFU is fighting courageously, don’t tie their hands with political cowardice and nonsense.
