One of the largest batches of powerful generators from international partners has arrived at Ukrainian hospitals.
This is reported by the National Industrial Portal with reference to the notification of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine.
110 alternating current generators were supplied as part of the international technical assistance project “Ensuring the energy stability of Ukrainian hospitals”. Each of them will ensure uninterrupted operation of the oxygen station, operating rooms and resuscitation in case of an emergency.

“We understand that Russian terrorists will continue to attack critical medical infrastructure. Therefore, together with international partners, we make every effort to ensure that our hospitals are equipped with everything necessary for normal work under any conditions. Thanks to these powerful generators, equipment in operating rooms and intensive care units will work without interruption in medical facilities, where every minute without electricity can cost a patient his life,” said Deputy Minister of Health Bohdan Borukhovskyi.
According to the deputy, the generators are distributed among medical institutions working in the frontline and frontline regions, as well as hospitals in the West of Ukraine, which currently receive the largest number of patients.

The generators were provided as part of the project “Ensuring the Energy Stability of Ukraine’s Hospitals”, implemented by the United Nations Office for Project Services in Ukraine (UNOPS) with the support of the Ukrainian Humanitarian Fund (UHF).
