In addition to gaining access to the site of the tragedy, the ICRC also offered assistance in the evacuation of the wounded and donations.

The Russian invaders did not give permission to the International Committee of the Red Cross to visit the place of mass death of Ukrainian prisoners of war in the Yelenovskaya colony.
This is reported by Reuters with reference to the statement of the ICRC.
“Families should receive urgent news and answers about what happened to their loved ones. The parties should do everything in their power, including through an impartial investigation, to help establish the facts of the attack,” the statement said.

In addition to gaining access, the ICRC also offered assistance in evacuating the wounded and grant aid.
“So far we have not received official confirmation granting us access to visit the prisoners of war affected by the attack, and to date our offer of material assistance has not been accepted,” says the Red Cross.

This refusal comes the day after the Moscow monkeys invited the ICRC to investigate. I suppose AFTER the innocent Ukrainians are buried they will be invited….

They were probably shocked that the ICRC actually would come. Can’t have too much evidence out in the open when they do.

“Pro-Russian militants prevent the Red Cross from entering Yelenovka”
I would’ve been surprised if the opposite had happened. The mafiosi know exactly why they’re refusing the Red Cross from entering the scene of their crime. It’s always been like that. The first high-profile case like this was in 2010, when they shot down the Polish plane by Smolensk, murdering the Polish president Lech Kaczyński and 95 other people.

A post board I saw outside the barracks listed 192. Of that reports have 53 killed, 130 wounded. Two bodies I saw had bullet holes. Reports stated that several POWs we’re moved to another location before the barracks were destroyed.
Does not surprise me either that ICRC was denied access to the site. Willing to bet they would have run across many details that don’t fit the rashist’s storyline.

HIMARS can punch big holes in re-enforced concrete bridges. Whatever caused this fire and killed the prisoners didn’t even knock over the bunk beds, let alone knock down the walls.
