More than 30 combat flights for the defense of Ukraine: in the Odesa region, the last journey of a combat pilot was carried out

Military pilot Yevhen Kachay, who gave his life for the freedom and independence of Ukraine, was escorted to the south of the Odesa region.

Yesterday in the Safyanivska rural territorial community there was a Day of Mourning – there they said goodbye to a serviceman and defender of Ukraine.

Evgeny Kachai

From the first days of Russia’s full-scale aggression against Ukraine, 23-year-old Evgeny Kachay, a resident of the village of Loshchynivka, defended the Ukrainian land from the aggressor. Evgeny made more than 30 flights since the beginning of the war.

July 2 was his last flight.

Villagers met the fallen serviceman on their knees with flags and flowers in their hands. A living corridor stretched from the entrance to the village to Yevhen’s native house.

Hundreds of people came to say goodbye to the military pilot – relatives and friends, comrades-in-arms, friends, fellow villagers, classmates, as well as the leadership of the Safyaniv community.

Yevhen Kachai was buried with military honors at the cemetery in his native village.

“It is difficult to find words of comfort, it is impossible to heal the pain and bitterness from the loss of a loved one. May the good, bright memory of the Warrior become stronger than death and forever remain in the memory of relatives, colleagues, friends, comrades-in-arms, everyone who knew, loved and respected him,” expressed condolences in the Safyanivska rural territorial community.

Eternal memory and glory to those who died for the freedom and independence of Ukraine!
DEATH TO THE RUSSIAN OCCUPIERS!
