In one of the occupied communities of Kharkiv region , Russians are preparing to destroy Ukrainian literature.

This is stated in the message of the press service of the Borovsky village council.

“As of July 25, 2022, the Borovshchina still remains occupied by the Rashists. According to aerial reconnaissance, the number of Russian occupation troops on the territory of the community has recently significantly decreased. After the targeted fire hit the occupiers’ concentration areas, the latter withdrew the bulk of the surviving equipment in the Kupyansk direction” – reported in the community.

Thus, the remaining Russian military show more aggression towards the local population and express dissatisfaction with the situation.

“The community is led by the “newly appointed” occupiers Sergei Agarkov. The new Gauleiter tells people that Borovshchina has forever become a part of the Russian Federation and the Krasnodar Territory will now deal with it. He promises that roads will be built in our community at the expense of this Russian region, schools will be repaired and the like “On the other hand, the occupiers only destroy and rob everything and have not yet allocated a penny for the restoration of what they have destroyed. Even the workers they have recruited into the state have been working for three months without wages for food rations,” the message says.

“Meanwhile, the fight against Ukrainian textbooks and literature continues in the occupied territories. It is known that the school libraries of the neighboring Kupyansky district have already received an order from the occupying authorities to compile a register of all the books they have published since 1991 and dispose of them. Even fairy tales are subject to destruction. and children’s picture books with almost no text,” the community reported.

Also, almost since the beginning of Russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, there has been no mobile communications and the Internet in the Borovsk region.

“On the territory of the so-called “LPR” and “DPR” Viber and Google have already been blocked. Such restrictions on the information space deprive people of the opportunity to receive information from different sources, analyze it and draw objective conclusions, have their own opinion and civil position. But this allows the occupiers to control information space and, as a result, manipulate the minds of citizens,” the message emphasizes.

They’ve been trying to do that for about 300 years already. No doubt, they’re going to fail once again.
