The Ukrainian military destroyed a Russian battery of the S-300 anti-aircraft missile system in the Kherson region.

This happened in response to the shelling of Nikolaev by the Russians from these systems, according to the summary of the Pivden operational command.

“Our missile and artillery units, in the course of carrying out fire missions, destroyed a battery of S-300 air defense systems in the Zelenotropinsky area,” the message says.

The Ukrainian defenders also took several transport infrastructure facilities in the temporarily occupied territory under fire control. As noted in OK “Pivden”, this significantly limits the maneuverability and logistics of enemy Russian troops.

In addition, it is reported that the Russians near Kherson are disguising the delivery of ammunition under civilian cargo.

“More than 20 so-called “humanitarian” KAMAZ trucks, painted white, entered the Kherson region. The real cargo delivered was cannon artillery ammunition and MLRS,” the command said.

It is also known about the arrangement by the Russian invaders of new ammunition depots in civilian buildings, in particular in cultural and educational institutions.
