The National Security and Defense Council created and presented a new module of the SOTA information and analytical system for monitoring supplies of weapons to Ukraine from partner countries.

This was announced by NSDC Secretary Oleksiy Danilov, who presented the module, Ukrinform reports.

“Everything that crosses into our country is under tight control, and we can look at it all,” the secretary noted, showing the media the features of the new information system.

The module allows monitoring new arms deliveries by status (for example, ready for shipment, in transit, or delivered) and by donor countries, to analyze arms deliveries over time, by periods of acceptance, compliance with NATO standards, Soviet weapons classification, etc.

It also provides for the possibility of calculating the ammunition supply to weapons units, monitoring the implementation of supply plans, and distribution of weapons received. The module is integrated with the SOTA portal for monitoring the situation on the front line, monitoring the deployment of enemy forces, missile strikes on the territory of Ukraine, shelling of populated areas, geographical reference of reports related to military operations, emergency situations, and high-profile statements in the media space.

“Starting February 24, the project entered the stage of tracking the military component. Since February 24, we have been tracking all war-related processes. They provide interesting analytics on all the processes that are taking place,” Danilov said.

For example, referring to the system, Danilov proved that, despite the widespread opinion that Mariupol was the city affected by enemy rocket attacks the most, it turns out that it’s in fact the town of Izium.

The new module allows seeing the enemy location and activity for any period of time, the degree of destruction of infrastructure in any given territory, etc.

The developers emphasized that SOTA, operating with big data, continues to monitor a wide range of spheres, including budgetary issues across the regions, subsoil use, the number of available beds in hospitals, etc.
