Putin “agreed” to release the Ukrainian ships. However, he demands to remove “grain” sanctions from Russia.
Russia will not interfere with the export of Ukrainian grain in exchange for the lifting of sanctions related to the supply of Russian grain.
This was stated by Russian President Vladimir Putin during his visit to Iran to meet with Turkish leader Recep Tayyip Erdogan.
The Kremlin dictator brazenly declared that the US should remove all restrictions on the export of Russian grain “if they want to improve the situation on the food market.
“We will facilitate the export of Ukrainian grain, but we proceed from the fact that all restrictions related to the supply of Russian grain will be lifted. No one has objected so far. Including the American partners,” the Russian terrorist president said cynically.
In addition, Putin announced an increase in Russian grain exports this year from 30 million tons of grain to 50 million, without even hiding the fact of grain theft from the occupied territories of Ukraine.
Earlier, UNIAN wrote about how this “potential” is increasing and Russian ships are taking the stolen Ukrainian grain to Syria .
Recall that on July 13, negotiations were held in Istanbul on the export of grain from Ukraine. Among the participants, apart from Ukraine and Russia, were Turkey and the UN.
After the meeting, UN Secretary General António Guterres said that the Ukrainian and Russian delegations showed understanding.
The second round of talks will soon take place in Istanbul. Foreign Minister Dmitry Kuleba said that now the process is essential progress.
