July 19 (Reuters) – Russia’s former president Dmitry Medvedev said on Tuesday that Russia will prevail in Ukraine and will set the terms for a future peace deal with Kyiv.
“Russia will achieve all its goals. There will be peace – on our terms,” Medvedev, now deputy chairman of Russia’s Security Council, said in a post on Telegram.
The former leader, once held up in the West as a possible partner, has becoming increasingly hawkish and outspoken in his criticism of the West since Russia sent tens of thousands of troops into Ukraine on Feb. 24.

Doesn’t peace come after a war? But if Russia are not at war, how can there be peace? Anyway, you are wrong on all counts. Messr’s Himars, plus F16s will decide the peace terms after the orcs are totally destroyed from all parts of Ukraine. You can even accompany the dwarf to Kyiv to sign the surrender.

Russia is run by a genocidal nazi dictatorship. Therefore there can be no peace until or unless it becomes a normal country. Which might take another century.
Therefore Ukraine is in a perpetual state of war; like Israel is with Iran and the Palis. Ukraine needs to reformulate itself as a military state on the Israel model, with 20% of GDP going on defence.
Nevertheless, it would be interesting to see what putler’s current terms are. Is it total surrender? Or is it to gift all the Donbas and Crimea, plus Kherson and all the other components of the 2022 land grab?
Why should Ukraine be interested in giving land to genocidal nazis?
Putler will carry on until he dies and another nazi takes over.
Conclusion: only one way out for Ukraine: defeat of putler and all of its 2013 boundaries back with the rightful owner. Russia sequestered for 100 years. All reparations to be paid; one way or another.
Finally: Germany and France must be put through the courts to pay for the genocide they enabled.

The Russian empire must also be broken apart and the captive nations set free. Expel all Russian colonizers and send them to the rump state of Russia whose military is to be reduced to little more than what the Reichswehr was in 1922.
