Guardsman of the National Guard of Ukraine as part of the Defense Forces destroyed another enemy Su-25 attack aircraft with the help of Igla MANPADS.

“Recently, during the next enemy air raids on the positions of our defenders, the National Guardsman shot down two more enemy aircraft. In addition, on July 16, at about ten o’clock in the evening, he managed to shoot down a cruise missile !!! And the next morning, he replenished his piggy bank of downed aircraft with more One “dryer”! Now the guardsman has already 6 enemy aircraft “SU-25” and one cruise missile of the occupiers,” the National Guard noted.
The conscript of the National Guard, who is only 19 years old, is now performing combat missions, protecting the Ukrainian sky in the Zaporozhye direction, and mercilessly hitting the enemy in the air simply from the Igla MANPADS
In social networks, he was nicknamed the “Zaporozhye avenger” after the fighter shot down 3 enemy aircraft. The 19-year-old military himself noted that he would continue to do his job.
Developed in the USSR in the 70s, the Su-25 attack aircraft is actively used by the Armed Forces of Ukraine and the Russian army. Despite its age, it remains a fairly effective machine, designed exclusively for strikes against ground targets.
