The death toll from a rocket attack on a high-rise building in Chasovoy Yar, Donetsk region, has risen to 43.

This was reported on Facebook by the Main Department of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in the Donetsk region.

“As of 18:00, the personnel of the Main Directorate identified and removed from the rubble of a 5-storey residential building destroyed by shelling in the city of Chasov Yar the bodies of 43 dead, of which one is a child (a boy of about 9 years old)”, – said in the message.

At the same time, it is noted that 9 people were rescued from the rubble.

Missile strike on Clockwork Yar: what is known about the tragedy

As UNIAN reported earlier, on the evening of July 9,  Hurricanes fired at the city of  Chasov Yar, Bakhmut district, Donetsk region. The missiles hit the 5th floor. Two entrances to the house were completely destroyed.

The head of the Donetsk OVA Pavel Kirilenko reported that  at least 30 people could be under the rubble , including a 9-year-old child. Subsequently, the body of the child was pulled out from under the rubble , the death toll then increased to 33.

  1. Absolutely horrendous. So much terrible, unbearable pain for the loved ones of the victims of this genocidal attack.
    God bless Ukraine and grant them the strength to send all the orcs to hell, where they clearly belong.
