“…Rashists hit Nikolaev with S-300 and MLRS systems from the territory of the temporarily occupied Kherson region,” he said.

According to the mayor, one two-story house burned to the ground, and damage from fragments and a shock wave was recorded in nearby buildings.

In addition, in another five-story building, the tail of the rocket broke through the ceiling from the 5th to the 3rd floor.

“The building of one of the Nikolaev schools was completely destroyed. Windows and doors were also beaten in other buildings of the institution. Two hospitals were also damaged. Windows were broken in them, the ceiling collapsed in some rooms. Similar destruction in the premises of the bank and post office,” Senkevich said.

He clarified that public transport was also damaged as a result of shelling – 5 trolleybuses cannot be restored.

“Rockets also hit the territory of the fish enterprise. Buildings and vehicles were destroyed there …”, the mayor added.

Earlier it became known that on July 12, the enemies fired at Nikolaev, after the shelling, 24 rocket craters were found in the city . As a result of the new shelling, 12 people were injured.
