The Ukrainian defenders cooperate with the Kherson partisans who coordinate destruction of depots there.
Surgical strikes by the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the ammunition depots of Russian troops in the temporarily occupied Kherson region are preparations for a counteroffensive. Serhiy Khlan, a local deputy and the adviser to the head of the Kherson Regional Military Administration, told this.
“Our last week was devoted to the total destruction of the rears and ammunition depots of the occupiers. This is a kind of a preparatory action by the Armed Forces for a counteroffensive,” he said.
As Khlal added, the Armed Forces of Ukraine are closely cooperating with the Kherson partisans, who coordinate and direct the destruction of depots in the region.
According to him, today the occupiers have no safe place in the region where they could store their ammunition and repair armoured vehicles.
“The occupiers can no longer secure their ammunition depots, not only in Chornobayivka, Kherson but even in Nova Kakhovka, where they did not have such a danger previously,” the adviser said.
As a result, the Russians are forced to locate their ammunition depots even further, closer to Crimea, delivery times are increasing, and all this gives an advantage to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
