Ukraine will receive projectiles for HIMARS MLRS with a maximum range of damage, which can attack the enemy at a distance of up to 300 km.

The Ukrainian publication ZN.UA writes about this with reference to unnamed sources in one of the headquarters of the operational command.

Previously, the American media, including the Financial Times, reported that as part of a new package of military aid to Ukraine from the United States, in addition to the HIMARS systems themselves, longer-range high-precision projectiles will be delivered.

The publication, citing an unnamed representative of the Pentagon, wrote that the projectiles for the MLRS shoot further and have greater accuracy than the previously transferred samples. However, the FT does not specify which projectiles they are.

We will remind you that the projectiles that Ukraine previously had to suppress the offensive of the Russian Federation are GMLRS with a maximum defeat distance of about 70 km. At the same time, the maximum range of projectiles that can be used by HIMARS reaches the target at a distance of up to 300 km.

We will remind, on the evening of July 8, it became known that the USA announced a new package of military aid in the amount of about $400 million , which will include four more HIMARS MLRS and high-precision projectiles.
