In Russia, they block messages about the exchange of bodies of the dead, because there are tens of thousands of them.

“They don’t advertise because there are a lot of losses. It’s tens of thousands. I’m convinced, I know for sure that they are suffering huge losses. Of course, propaganda and their block that stands on these issues does not allow everyone in Russia to find out about this. But, mothers and relatives can already see what the “Russian world” is in practice. When coffins come to them, or even such people do not reach them, because they cannot talk about it, they are intimidated. They (Russian mothers – UNIAN) try to turn to us, Of course, these are few. In most cases, they are not allowed to do this, “Vereshchuk emphasized.

She added that the problem with the identification of the bodies of the dead exists because Ukraine carries out identification and genetic examination according to European protocols.

“We have our own expertise and they work very well. Russia, as an undeveloped country, has its own protocols. We act according to the protocols of the European Union, internationally recognized protocols. Identification occurs precisely by DNA, as well as identification for those probable signs that We have more than 400 bodies that we returned. This process is ongoing. We know how to do this through the International Committee of the Red Cross. Today I met with them again and we did how to return bodies to our Ukrainian families for burial them with Christian traditions,” Vereshchuk stressed.

In addition, the Vice Prime Minister – Minister for the Reintegration of the Temporarily Occupied Territories noted on the issue of the departure of people from the temporarily occupied territories of the Kherson region.

“I know that more and more people are deciding to leave because life there is becoming unbearable. We know that the occupiers encourage and force people to become collaborators in every possible way. For example, libraries, teachers, educational institutions and out-of-school education. I strongly recommend people to save themselves, most importantly, their children and leave the territory of the Kherson region,” Vereshchuk emphasized.

She added that there are different ways that people can use to leave the temporarily occupied territories.

“I know that now volunteers are helping a lot with this. Indeed, it is possible through the temporarily occupied Ukrainian Crimea. It is difficult, there are filtration camps, there is a difficult road, but it is possible. he regretted it or said that he wanted to return to the occupied territory,” Vereshchuk stated.

As UNIAN reported earlier, on July 5, adviser to the head of the President’s Office, Mikhail Podolyak , said that Russia’s losses in the war with Ukraine would amount to 95,000-115,000 killed and wounded. The lethal losses of the Russian army are approximately 35-36 thousand soldiers, mercenaries of private military campaigns – another 10-12 thousand dead.
