Oleksandr Sokolovsky describes one day in the life of his friend, a successful businessman who now defends Ukraine from the Russian invasion:

“One of the most successful and respected businessmen in Ukraine, my friend, and simply good and positive person, Serhiy Pozniak, has been fighting at the front since the beginning of the war with Russian fascists. I saw his post today and couldn’t help but share it:

“The working day of the chairman of the FinStream investment fund for 2022:
6:00 Waking up
6:10-6:20 Cleaning the dugout after the night shelling
6:20-6:45 Morning bathroom procedures
6:45-7:00 Informing on the situation in the defense area;
7:00- 7:23 Morning shelling
7:23 – 8:00 Breakfast
8:00-8:45 Morning meeting of the Invest Fund
8:45- 8:55 Signing of documents (digital signature)
8:55 – 9:15 Going into the firing position
9:15-12:45 Repelling the armed aggression of Russian orcs
12:45 -13:00 Communication with business partners concerning assistance to the Defense Forces of Ukraine
13:00 – 13:30 Lunch
13:30 – 20:00 Repelling the armed aggression of the orcs
20:00 p.m.- 1:00 a.m. Taking over the observation post
1:00-1:15 Completing summary of the day with the executive director.
1:15 – 6:00 Sleep interrupted by shelling
Other activities can be safely added to the schedule:

  • counterattacking and crushing Russians into minced meat 3-4 times a day
  • hunting for a helicopter
  • Giving hell to Russians who dare to approach the water closer than 500 m
  • praying for the Victory of Ukraine
