Ben Hodges stands against restrictions on arms supplies to Ukraine

Ex-Commander EUCOM General Ben Hodges says he does not agree with the policy of restrictions on supplies of certain types of weapons to Ukraine, including warplanes.

The U.S. general hopes for a shift in such policy, he told Guildhall, according to Ukrinform.

“I would support giving Ukraine everything it needs to win. I disagree with the policy about not providing aircraft. Ukrainians know how to do things, they learn very quickly, they adapt very quickly. I don’t accept any, I don’t agree with any exclusions or justifications to not do this. I hope that the policy will change,” Hodges said.

“It would (affect the conflict – ed.) of course, more aviation will enable Ukraine to attack the logistical support and the headquarters which Russians need to keep launching artillery and rockets,” the general concluded.

Earlier, U.S. Senator Kevin Cramer said that, if Ukraine is not protected, a NATO member country may become the next object of Russian aggression, which will lead to direct military intervention by the United States of America.

I can’t agree more. Any sane person sees the truth in his words.

  2. RuZZia needs to be attacked inside its own land. Primarily military targets, but also some cities need to be marmalised too.
In short, this terrible nation with so many horrible, evil people in it needs to suffer at least some of the horror that it inflicted upon Ukraine.
Obviously putler is going to mobilize and in time they will have a huge land army.
With 20-25% of its land under putinazi occupation, Ukraine’s people resources as well as land resources are under threat. As it stands now, Ukraine is reliant on the numbers they can mobilize out of a nation with a defacto population of 30-32m.
Somehow Ukraine must assemble 1m professional combat troops, with the same number in reserves and support.
Even if there is a ceasefire or negotiations, that number will need to grow into one of the world’s largest land armies, just to survive. Plus of course they need a navy and a large, modern Air Force.

  3. I totally agree that there should be no limits on what weapons are provided including aircraft. That lend lease act needs to be dusted off a bit more to the levels and beyond of what it was used to do in WW2. Time to stop playing pat a cake with putler and knock the snot out of him and his zombies. I keep thinking this horrific action or that barbaric act will push UK, USA, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand to say “enough is enough!”. If not here, Where? If not now, When? Ukraine must be protected and defended at all costs. May Ukraine be the rock that the gates of hell can not and will not prevail against.
