Russia pays public figures to spread propaganda – Bulgarian government

Bulgarian intelligence services have data that Russia pays about 2,000 euros a month to public figures, journalists and politicians for spreading its propaganda in the country.

This was announced by the press secretary of the government, head of the apparatus of the Prime Minister Lena Borislavova, Euractiv reports .

According to her, Russia paid for the formation of public opinion Bulgarian politicians, well-known journalists, analysts, political scientists and others who appear in the public media.

“To everyone who spits on the EU and NATO for free, and also supports Putin’s actions in Ukraine, you should know. You screwed up. Those who inspire you to do this receive money. Monthly,” Borislavova said.

According to her, some speakers are used to misleading the public, playing with misconceptions and fears.

  1. Well at least I know the motivation of some. So I need to think that the idiots who don’t get money are just fuckin stupid and there is no cure for stupid.
