Norway will give Ukraine MLRS, which can strike at a distance of up to 300 kilometers

Britain contributed to this decision.

Ukraine expects delivery of long-range weapons from Norway. We are talking about three units of the MLRS M270.

This was stated by Norwegian Defense Minister Bjorn Arild Gram, he is quoted by the government website of the kingdom.

“We must support Ukraine so that they can continue their fight for freedom and independence. We need more weapons. Rocket artillery is a weapon that Ukraine needs very much, and in cooperation with Britain, we were able to guarantee the transfer of this type of weapon to Ukraine,” Gram said.

The M270 is a tracked rocket launcher capable of firing from 32 to 300 kilometers, depending on ammunition. Norway will reopen three units of the M270, because they have not been in use since 2005.

Recall that earlier  American HIMARS arrived in Ukraine.  It is also expected that the United States will soon transfer another batch of HIMARS to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

            • The way I imagine the future border is a lot like Israel’s. If a Terrorist gets anywhere near the border they are shot dead. If a rocket launcher gets in striking distance, it is destroyed. What other choice does Ukraine have? The rockets will not stop. I hope part of Zelensky’s future negotiations I hope he tells Vladolf, we will not strike first but for every Ukrainian killed by you we will kill ten of yours.

Alas, Putin does not give a shit about Russian losses. Retaliation will only make impression upon him if it threatens him personally.

What is your opinion?
