US President Joe Biden introduced 35% customs tariffs on Russian products.

This was announced by the head of the Office of the President Andriy Yermak.

“The White House has issued a relevant proclamation from the President of the United States. It states that from June 27, 2022, in accordance with the provisions of Section 3 (b) (1) of the Suspension of Normal Trade Relations with Russia and Belarus Act, the import duty rate will increase to 35% on a certain list of goods from the Russian Federation, the import of which was not completely banned,” Yermak wrote on Telegram.

He added that the United States will monitor the implementation of these customs rates and may decide to revise them.

Yermak recalled that following the results of the G7 summit, an agreement was reached that the money from the increase in duties on Russian exports would be transferred to Ukraine. Thus, Russia will be forced to pay for the war.

    • Bringing back the Trump tariffs is a good idea and applied to putin is an even better idea as long as the G7 countries follow their own agreements. At least there’s no skin involved for Germany, otherwise they wouldn’t want to get their pink frilly dresses mussed up.
