The head of the National Police, Igor Klymenko, in a commentary to Suspilny, also said that as a result of the shelling of a house in the Shevchenkovsky district of the capital, five people were injured.
Klitschko said that rescuers and doctors continue to work on the spot. Those people who have already been hospitalized are in a satisfactory condition.
“Friends! In a residential building in the Shevchenko district, where the rocket hit, search and rescue work continues. There are people under the rubble. Some of the residents were evacuated, two victims were hospitalized. Rescuers continue to work, doctors are on the spot,” Klitschko said.
After that, he added that rescuers managed to get the child out of the rubble:
“A seven-year-old girl was pulled out from under the rubble of a residential building in the Shevchenko district. She is alive. Now her mother is being rescued.”
