In the Chernihiv region, 90 km of the strategic road R-69 Kyiv – Vyshhorod – Desna – Chernihiv have been repaired.

This was  reported  on the Facebook page of Ukravtodor, reports the  National Industrial Portal  with reference to ShoTam .

It is noted that this road was significantly damaged by hostilities in the Chernihiv region, but remained in fact the only transport corridor between Kyiv and Chernihiv. It needed to be restored as soon as possible.

Road workers laid the foundation of the crushed stone-sand mixture on the most damaged areas and laid a continuous layer of asphalt concrete.

The destroyed roadsides were also restored. Pits were repaired on more or less entire sections of the road.

In addition to repairing the pavement, two more temporary detours were made on the R-69 highway on the site of the bridges destroyed during the fighting. It is noted that reverse traffic is organized in the places of work. Traffic flows are passed gradually.
