Norway to increase gas production and supplies to the EU
After four months of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of the territory of independent Ukraine, Norway will increase gas production and supplies to the European Union.
This decision was made to compensate for the reduction in supplies from Russia. This is stated in a joint statement by the Executive Vice President of the European Commission Frans Timmermans and Norwegian Energy Minister Terje Åsland.
