Deputy Minister of Internal Affairs of the Russian Federation Igor Zubov said that Russia lacks about 170,000 IT specialists. According to the official, the shortage of personnel was formed as a result of the mass migration of specialists abroad.
“In connection with the sanctions regimes, we had an outflow of IT specialists, and a significant one, to a number of countries. The degree of need is determined by experts at about 170 thousand, and in general, one million people are employed in the industry, ” Zubov said at an expanded meeting of the Federation Council Committee on Social Policy.
