The front line advanced 10 kilometers: the mayor of Melitopol announced the approach of de-occupation

Fedorov is confident that in the coming weeks the city of Kherson will be liberated by our heroic military, the same situation is in the direction of Melitopol.

Ukrainian defenders are approaching Melitopol, there is hope for the liberation of the city from the enemy.

Mayor Ivan Fedorov announced this in a video message .

According to Fedorov, in the Zaporozhye direction, the front line has advanced 10 kilometers.

“I would like to state a few facts in order to support and restore faith to our residents who are in the occupied territories. Today, our heroic armed forces of Ukraine have made significant progress and are already on the borders of Kherson. I am sure that in the coming weeks the city of Kherson will be liberated by our heroic “The situation is the same in the direction of Melitopol. Our Armed Forces have advanced more than 10 kilometers from Zaporozhye towards Melitopol,” he said.

The mayor expressed hope that thanks to the supply of weapons, the city could be liberated.

“Recently, a large number of Western weapons have been received, which bring us closer to victory. I hope that in the near future it will be enough to de-occupy our occupied cities and save our residents. We believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine,” he concluded.

As Aleksey Arestovich, adviser to the chairman of the OPU, reported, the advance of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to Kherson could develop into a counteroffensive.

    Those captives in the Twitter video don’t look like awe-inspiring soldiers. They look more like miserable cannon fodder.
