In the fourth month of Russia’s full-scale military invasion of the territory of independent Ukraine, Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov claims that Russia “did not invade Ukraine.”

It is reported by the  BBC .

“We did not invade Ukraine. We announced a ‘special military operation’ when we no longer had any way to explain to the West that it is engaged in criminal activities by drawing Ukraine into NATO,” Lavrov said.

Commenting on the words of the UN High Commissioner for Human Rights Michel Bachelet that in the village of Yagodnoye, Chernihiv region, Russian invaders kept 360 people, including 74 children, in the basement of a school for 28 days, Lavrov said that this was a fake.

“You know, unfortunately, international officials, including the High Commissioner for Human Rights, including, unfortunately, the UN Secretary General and many other representatives of the United Nations, are under pressure from the West. And very often they act as the mouthpiece of the fake news that The West… Russia is not white and not fluffy, Russia is what it is, and we are not shy about showing ourselves as we are,” Lavrov said.
