Slovakia decided to transfer combat helicopters to Ukraine, while Canada, Poland and the Netherlands – new artillery pieces.
This was announced by the head of the Pentagon, Lloyd Austin, after a meeting in the Ramstein-3 format in Brussels, European Pravda reports .
“I would like to thank Slovakia, which has announced a significant donation of Mi series helicopters and badly needed rocket munitions,” he said.
“We also discussed important new artillery donations from many countries, including Canada, Poland and the Netherlands. These are key investments and Ukraine’s long-range fire capabilities and will be critical to Ukraine’s efforts to repel Russia’s offensive in the Donbas,” Austin said.
The head of the Pentagon confirmed that Germany had decided to transfer three multiple rocket launchers with guided munitions to Ukraine.
As UNIAN reported earlier, on June 4 it became known that Slovakia had postponed the supply of Zuzana 2 howitzers to its army and would hand them over to the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
On May 31, during a visit to Kiev, Slovak President Zuzana Chaputova announced the delivery of Zuzana howitzers to Ukraine in the near future. Speaking at a meeting of the Verkhovna Rada, she noted that the occupiers from Ukraine “will not be driven out of our packages with medicines and food”, military equipment and equipment are needed.

It’s become an undeniable fact during this war that the smaller countries of Europe are more courageous and much more intelligent than the two largest countries on this continent, France and Germany.
