For the second week now, the Defense Forces of Ukraine have been successfully moving towards Kherson , temporarily occupied by the Russians . Thanks to tactical successes, the Ukrainian defenders are approaching with battles to Tomina Balka.

This was announced on the air of the telethon by the adviser to the chairman of the Kherson OVA Serhiy Khlan.

“The armed forces of Ukraine have advanced another 5 kilometers from Taurida. We are approaching Tomina Balka, and this is 20 kilometers to Kherson, where the orcs are located. Now the fighting is going on between Taurida and Tomina Balka,” Khlan said.

In his opinion, such tactical victories of the Ukrainian military must necessarily develop into a full-fledged counteroffensive.

“No matter how hard the occupiers try to return, recapture the lost positions, they fail, and they roll back even more. That is, we gradually have advantages,” Khlan explains.

He drew attention to the fact that, unlike the Russian troops, in which there is a massive shelling, ours work precisely hitting the ammunition, equipment and personnel of the enemy.

“Unfortunately, it doesn’t matter for the orcs that they end up in residential buildings, for our Armed Forces it’s the other way around. Successes in the Kherson region are not yet a counteroffensive, but a very good start,” the adviser to the head of the Kherson Regional Military District added on Facebook .
