Microsoft has decided to significantly reduce its activities in Russia.
This was reported by Bloomberg, citing a statement from the company.
“As a result of changes in economic prospects and the impact of this on our business in Russia, we have decided to significantly reduce our operations in Russia,” the statement said.
At the same time, the company will continue to fulfill its existing contractual obligations with Russian customers while suspending new sales.
According to a company spokesman, the decision to cut the business will affect more than 400 employees, with whom the company “works closely to support in this difficult time.”
