Bulgaria, North Macedonia and Montenegro “closed their skies” to the plane of Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov, who is due to visit Serbia .

According to Serbian media, the Russian minister’s visit to Serbia, scheduled for June 6-7, “turned out to be a big question mark.”

At the same time, they note that this is not the fault of official Belgrade. The President of Serbia is now forced to personally deal with the logistics of the visit of the Russian Foreign Minister to the country.

During his stay in Belgrade, Lavrov was going to meet with President Adeksandr Vučić, Foreign Minister Nikolai Selaković, Parliament Speaker Ivica Dacic, and the head of the National Assembly.

Earlier, Vučić noted that if, due to Lavrov’s visit, the visit to Serbia of German Chancellor Olaf Scholz, scheduled for June 10, is disrupted, “it will be a tragedy .
